The Dogs – Love Says Nothing At All
Liebe sagt nichts.
Lyrics:
She had 2 kids, both were sons
Different bullets, but the same gun
Only one was smart enough to run
And left the other there to die with mum
Rumours had it she once had a daughter
That she drowned cause she could not support her
Her chosen words for her babys slaughter
«Thank god it’s downhill to the water»
You would think that love actually could do something
But just like a stone by a grave, it says nothing
You would think that love actually could do something
But just like a stone by a grave, it says nothing
It says nothing
Beneath her smell there’s something else
More than blood and sex and rotting flesh
These hairs are hers, I must confess
I only saved them cause they smelled the less
You would think that love actually could do something
But just like a stone by a grave, it says nothing
You would think that love actually could do something
But just like a stone by a grave, it says nothing
It says nothing
It says nothing
It says nothing
It says nothing
It says nothing at all
When you stumble and fall
Love says nothing at all
English version!
As soon as I had the title this one pretty much wrote itself. Love is fucking silent. It doesn’t say a goddamn thing. It just sits there. It offers nothing. Says nothing. You can’t eat it. You can’t live underneath it for shelter, and it sure as shit doesn’t keep you out of danger. In fact it has caused more deaths and sold more medication than cancer through the history of mankind. It’s the silent killer. The one that will end us all. Still we cling to it like an octopus inside an aquarium. It’s more addictive than crack. Harder to find than a speck of gold in the stained underpants of a retard. Ask it a question and it offers nothing in return. And sometimes it’s a murderer. Killing kids. Fuck it. Love says nothing.
